The author wishes to express here his gratitude and appreciation for the assistance provided by Microsoft Copilot throughout the process of translating and preparing the Vietnamese edition of this research work on Hán‑Việt etymology, which was originally written in English by the same author under various pen‑names, including dchph, with numerous creative and scholarly publications appearing in print during the last three decades of the 20th century and on the internet since the early 2000s.
The Copilot 2025–26 text‑processing tool made it possible to carry out the translation and standardization swiftly, helping maintain consistency in terminology, structure, orthography, grammar, and academic style throughout the entire work, and thereby revise the text of the publication in accordance with the scientific polysyllabic system applied to both the Hán and Vietnamese languages.
